Notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of title conditions applicable to Erf 166, Newton Park. 

The Council has received an application for an amendment to the Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of Erf 166, Newton Park from Residential 1 to Business 1 to permit the property to be used for such purposes.

Notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of title conditions applicable to Erf 2048, Newton Park to permit a business to operate on the property.

The Council intends selling Erf 29566, Bethelsdorp, measuring 1537m², as shown on Plan no. M8B-X-4, to Missionvale Assemblies of God, subject to certain conditions.

Furthermore, the Council has received an application for an amendment to the Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of consolidated portions of Remainder Erf 1082, Fairview from Residential 2, Private Open Space and Special Purposes (Access) to Special purposes and Transportation 1. 

The Council has received an application for a Zoning Scheme Departure to depart from the landscaping and building line requirements.

The Council has received an application for an amendment to the Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of Erven 640, 1328 and 1329, Lorraine from Residential 1 to Business 1 to permit a business and offices to operate on the properties. 

Furthermore the applicant intends to consolidate Erven 640, 1328 and 1329, Lorraine

(2)        REMOVAL OF RESTRICTIONS APPLICATION IN TERMS OF THE SPATIAL PLANNING AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT ACT, 2013 (ACT 16 OF 2013) : ERVEN 1588 AND 1620, MOUNT ROAD

The Council has received an application for a Zoning Scheme Departure from the provisions of Clause 13 of the Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme from the relaxation of building lines and relaxation of parking requirements. 

In addition, notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of title conditions applicable to Erven 1588 and 1620, Mount Road. 

ZONING SCHEME DEPARTURE 8312A : PORTION OF ERF 502, WALMER (118 MAIN ROAD) (CF32/00502) (SN) 

The Council has received an application to approve an existing Zoning Scheme Departure (TPD 8312) for a further 3 years in order to permit a licensed restaurant on a portion of Erf 502, Walmer. 

Details relating to these proposals are available at the offices of the Directorate: Human Settlements, second floor, Lillian Diedericks Building (formerly Brister House), Govan Mbeki Avenue, Port Elizabeth during normal office hours. Any person wishing to object to these proposals must submit his objections in writing to the Executive Director: Human Settlements, PO Box 9, Port Elizabeth 6000 on or before 29 May 2017.

REMOVAL OF RESTRICTIONS

Notice is given in terms of Section 3(6) of the Removal of Restrictions Act, 1967 (Act 84 of 1967) that the undermentioned application has been received and is open to inspection at room 4178, fourth floor, Office for Housing and Local Government : Eastern Cape, Tyamzashe Building, Civic Square, Bhisho, and at the offices of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, second floor, Lillian Diedericks Building, Govan Mbeki Avenue, Port Elizabeth. LEASE : BLUE HORIZON BAY AND CLARENDON MARINE 

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality intends renewing the leases in respect of the following erven as detailed below, subject to certain conditions: 

(1)        Portion of Erf 224, Blue Horizon Bay to Vodacom (CF49/00224) (Ref. 82)

(2)        Portion of Erf 237, Clarendon Marine to Vodacom (CF50/00237) (Ref. 83) 

Any interested parties are required to express their interest in such lease, as stated above or their objections thereto, in writing, in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the description "Lease of portion of Erf 224, Blue Horizon Bay" or "Lease of portion of Erf 237, Clarendon Marine", which must be delivered to Properties and Planning Administration, second floor, Lillian Diedericks building, Govan Mbeki Avenue, Port Elizabeth by not later than 16:30 on 29 May 2017. 

Any lease of the property shall be subject to the provisions of the Local Government : Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003, the NMBM Preferential Procurement Policy (as amended), the NMBM Policy for the Disposal of Immovable Capital Assets, incorporating the NMBM Land Sales Directives (as amended) and the evaluation and adjudication criteria stated therein.
